I hope that the currently discussed transaction
with the austrian investor Schlaff will lead to a
conclusion of some of the problems in the area of
the oil transit business.
I think that it would be in best interest of this
business area, of this whole segment of the oil transit
business through Ventspils, that such a conclusion
can be found.
If everything is reunited in one hand, this company
can be a real valuable asset in the hands or operating
for the russian oil export industry. I think they
can be very successful and very prosperous in doing
this.
But I believe that these inefficiencies, these problems which
we had in the past, they have really damaged the business.
Unfortunately I believe many minority shareholders
which have been involved in these attacks against the
business companies, they had never thought long enough
to see that they are really damaging their own business.
I believe – if they would not do it, they would be much
more successful and they could earn more money on a
clean basis, then being involved in these strange
situations which have happened in the past.
